Terms & Conditions for Business Associates & Course Contributors
Welcome to AddOn Edutech Private Ltd's platform for academic collaborators. By submitting, publishing, or selling any educational content or course material through our website, you agree to the following terms:
1. Eligibility & Relationship
- You are either an individual, trainer, educator, content creator, or a registered training organization.
- You are entering into a business collaboration as an independent contributor, and this agreement does not create any employment, agency, or partnership.
2. Types of Collaboration
- Publish Your Existing Courses: List your already developed course(s) for distribution through our platform.
- Publish a New Course: Co-develop or independently publish a newly created course.
- Sell Your Course to AddOn: Transfer full rights of your authored course material to AddOn Edu Tech for a fixed fee or royalty agreement.
Each course will be supported by a custom agreement covering payment structure, content ownership, and licensing rights.
3. Course Guidelines
- All submitted course content must be original, plagiarism-free, and aligned with academic integrity and educational standards.
- The course content must not include defamatory, unlawful, discriminatory, or harmful material.
- AddOn reserves the right to review, edit, or remove content that does not meet quality or ethical standards.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
- You retain ownership of your course if publishing as an external author. However, you grant AddOn Edu Tech a non-exclusive license to distribute and market your course.
- If you sell your course to AddOn, the ownership and IP rights will be transferred completely upon agreed terms.
- All parties must agree in writing on the IP clause before onboarding.
5. Revenue and Payment Terms
- Revenue from published courses will be shared as per the agreed revenue-sharing model or royalty.
- Payment cycles will be monthly or quarterly, depending on the terms.
- Taxes, TDS, and deductions will be applicable as per Indian financial laws.
6. Code of Conduct
Business associates are expected to:
- Uphold professional standards.
- Provide accurate content free of misleading claims.
- Respect user data, platform integrity, and user feedback.
7. Termination & Content Removal
- Either party may terminate the collaboration with a 30-day notice.
- In case of breach of policy, unethical content, or legal violation, AddOn Edu Tech reserves the right to terminate access and remove courses without prior notice.
8. Confidentiality
All data, communication, platform access, user analytics, and payment details are confidential and should not be shared or disclosed without written consent.
Privacy Policy for Business Associates
We collect and process personal and professional data of business associates to ensure smooth collaboration and transparency.
1. What We Collect
- Name, contact details, designation, institutional affiliation.
- Course materials, content submissions, royalty/payment preferences.
- Communication and contractual data.
2. How We Use It
- To process contracts, publish courses, and manage payments.
- To notify of changes, updates, or business opportunities.
- To communicate with users on your behalf when applicable.
3. Data Protection
- All associate data is stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel.
- We use encrypted systems and secure servers for data management.
4. Data Sharing
- Your data will not be sold or shared with any third parties.
- If external platforms (LMS, payment gateways, etc.) are used, they will operate under strict confidentiality agreements.
5. Rights of the Associate
- Request access or updates to your personal or payment data.
- Request removal of your courses post termination.
- Withdraw from the partnership at any time, following agreed notice terms.
6. Updates to Policy
Terms and privacy policies may be updated from time to time. Continued use or collaboration constitutes agreement to the revised terms.
